History of Sex toys (the early years_

ok ok so yes this still isnt a story but its interesting....
i was doin some searchin online and came across a list of sex toys starting from the begining of time....
25000 BC-prehistoric stone carvings of women were introduced..usually referred to as fertility goddesses but they were faceless...with showing of all female parts so they may have been used as an early sort of porn.

2500 BC- Egyptian Art introduces us to almost naked dancers carrying a giant mould of a penis to worship a God..possibly a fertilization ritual....

500 BC- the first dildo was created but called " olisbos " and were sold around the Mediterranean for lonely women.

350 BC- This is the first introduction of lubrication...but they used olive oil...it was first used as a contreception method but instead has been used as a lubricant ever since then

300 AD - Penis extenders!?!? Cylindrical devices, which fit over men's erections to make them look larger, were first mentioned in the classic Indian sex manual also known as the KAMA SUTRA which suggested crafting them from wood, leather, buffalo horn, copper, silver, ivory or gold

500 AD- Ben wa balls were created...initially just one for a males pleasure during intercourse but were later doubled and used by women to increase the pelvic floor muscles. Some were hollow, solid and some even had clappers on them that ade clicking noises while in the vagina

655 AD- Mirrors were introduced as a sexual accessory!! by the lady of the Chinese Emporer when she ordered sheet mirrors to go around their bed..they were removed as they were thought to be a bad omen and when the Emporer died she had them reinstalled to enhance romps with sunsequent lovers.

1200- The first cock ring was made ! Constructed out of goat eyelids with the lashes still intact. The flexible eyelids were tied around men's erections, and the hardened lashes were said to increase the pleasure of intercourse.

1400- The term dildo was introduced possibly from the Latin dilatare, to open wide, or perhaps from the Italian diletto, to delight. Renaissance Italian dildos were made of wood or leather and required liberal lubrication with olive oil for comfortable use.

1600- The modern cock ring and clit stimulator were created. Chinese men slipped ivory rings over their erections to help maintain them. The rings were ornately carved, usually depicting dragons. Over time, the carved dragons' tongues extended to form a nub that would rub against the woman's clitoris and enhance her pleasure during intercourse.

1700- European health spas installed gravity-fed systems that sent powerful jets of water into bathing pools, kinda like todays jacuzzi jets. While not specifically developed for female genital massage, surviving accounts hint that some women spent considerable time leaning into water-jet spouts.

1750- European brothels began specializing in flagellation and other SM-style "punishments" that dominant prostitutes meted out to willingly submissive men.

1791- Justine by the Marquis de Sade, introdiced the term "sadism". His controversial writings helped popularize BDSM and the many toys used in sexual power play, such as riding crops, whips, nipple clamps and restraint devices
